Eight (yes, 8) traumatic brain injuries over multiple deployments in Iraq (and one fall down some stairs in Texas), and I'm still fine, so Schumi should pull through okay. Wait, what was I saying again? Who are you guys?

Like Stephen, I too had a TBI (traumatic brain injury)... mine back in 2008.  While it wasn't life ending, it was definitely career ending.  The next few days, then weeks and then months will be very telling and very difficult for Michael.  But if anyone has shown the fighting spirit in his life, it's MS.  My prayers go out to him and his family and many blessings!

To put a more positive view on Michael's condition, in 1989 I had a similar brain injury. The Dr. told my wife I would die, and then when I did not, they told her I would be a vegetable, well she did not have room on
the vegetable shelf, so I had to get myself back together.
Michael was/is in top physical shape, has the best Doctors and the best hospital, and the F1 world pulling for him including me. To paraphrase Adam my Dr. said I was a walking miracle, if I can Michael can.

I'm afraid the news looks grim and he's presently in an induced coma, presumably as a treatment for trauma and swelling. Here's hoping for another Schumacher miracle.
