Actually, 'Deep, you'll find 99.9% of the performance of the 996 GT3 in a well-sorted 997 C2S, and you actually CAN fit adults in semi-reasonable comfort (assuming they're not of ginormous Big Head Liu dimensions) in the back seat. I had two 5'7" bridesmaids in the back for the 2.5 hour drive from a wedding and both were comfortable enough to fall asleep back there. And, with CPO your fix it cost is $0, services are every 20K miles (and under $200 at an indy shop) and the oil is super easy (and cheap) to change yourself. I paid $55 for my last oil change (filter, o-ring, Motul 8100 XS oil) doing it myself in my garage. Have her drive the 997, VERY different from the Boxster, I was very surprised.

AJ, a 996 GT3 could be interesting.

Not sure about the real rear seat room in a regular 911 though.

She has had a Boxter recently, so not sure if she will be keen on it just yet.

I predict that maintenance would be above our $0 budget?

2008 Carrera 2S. At least, that's what I got for the same criteria.
