Abarth 500 is a great idea.

She definitely did like it...great sound too.

Only the size is a concern. We have plenty of smallish 2+2s already.

Good idea regardless...

There is more space in the Fiat than my trunk in the 308...

Come on guys, where is the loyalty, Fiat Abarth ( I admit it does not have trunk space, but it great engine sound) with the right chip 140.  Or import a 695 Tribute to Ferrari.

Speaking with Porsche techs on the Cayenne since day 1, circa 2003, the Cayenne has been a reliable beast on statistics, but surely a howling nightmare if you got a bad one ... and there are many bad ones out there, but still not the "road kill" (roadside service tow-in's) of other brands (eg. Mercedes until they did a page one rewrite on their design and quality.)

For sure, a "CPO" or aftermarket bumper-ta-bumper warranty insurance product is mandatory.  I had an '05 Turbo S (525hp) and it cost around $100K in maintenance over the couple of years I persevered with it.  All warranty stuff, but the number of "holy mackerel" issues with component failure and the cost of the components and astronomical labor hours on the then flagship was just eye-watering.  eg.  step one for all of the many computer failures was to remove the front seat (which weighs about 150lb and is about the same size as the door opening.)  So you're 1hr "in" and 1hr "out" before you can even begin to work on electronic gremlins.  My car was initially troubled by "bus" errors and later injector failures and some recall items, but once it was sorted, it was reliable though it was always temperamental about really delivering all those horses -- it was only once I had driven it when it was on tune that I finally discovered and realized how far down on power it had been for months of "CEL" issues when the engine was in virtual "limp home" and delivering "only" about 400hp 400lbft.

I sold it because it was all too often not quite running on tune or had some niggling problem.  And I was sick of the sub 10mpg resulting from using the horsepower, but hell, it was three tons of lightning and could shut down anything short of a high end performance car.  It was as quick around Laguna Seca on a damp day as the GT3 it had towed there for the weekend. : )

What we got â a second generation (MY 2010 +) Porsche Cayenne V6.  This one has more room in the passenger compartment.

Get one that has had the drive line replaced or work out a deal splitting the $1000 plus bill thatâll hit you at about 125,000 miles.

GREAT car otherwise.
