The Camry was by far the most reliable car that i have ever owned BUT it sat the most. I daily drive BMW'S now because i don't get bored of driving dynamics and i know how to work on them and have two friends with BMW only shops. The CTS-V (i leased it) is the same. Besides the hp, the chassis is great. It can be daily driven like a normal car because it's based on a normal car. He asked for a $45k daily driver with a list of requirements and i think the Cadillac fits that. Otherwise, get a Mazda, Honda, Toyota etc.

To me, the Cadillac CTS-V meets your requirements. 6 speed, power, seating, fun to drive chassis, reliable "enough" and definitely in your price range. Interior pampers you enough. Great factory sound system. only weak point is the nav - not as good as the competition. A Camry could meet your needs but which would you rather drive? Yes, I have owned both the Camry and CTS-V...
Rodney - in BMW hell.
