And don’t forget Mini-Michael travelling around the country…..  what a great time driving up the CA coastline to transport MiniM from LA to Napa.  Perhaps we could have a reprise program for a charity?  For example, I was an organizer of a national 67-69 Firebird meeting in Estes Park where we listened to the Pontiac Design head tell stories of how the Firebird/Camaro/Mustang cars developed.  It was really cool listening to the guy who headed it up, and seeing photos of him next to Delorean on a design/drafting board.

Rick, and all,

I didn't make very many trips with the Listers' but over the years it has been GREAT! And I truly mean that, some days it was tough, and I looked forward to printing the List digest and seeing what was happening in my Ferrari world.

Of course the best part was meeting everybody, from coast to coast and in between. I still have Reynolds (God rest his soul) List of emergency contacts from long ago. It would probably be risky to publish these days give nefarious people a list of Ferrari garages.

Although I have sold my car, it served it purpose, extending family life with my children and their friends well into their twenty's. We still tell Ferrari stories from time to time especially about Bart and the Nashville Listers, Talladaga, Hallett, etc

 

I'm still up for a GATHERING however, anytime anyplace.
