Ferrari Mailing List: 15 Years and reflections

Mini-Mike, now that's a memory. My son Allen and I took him from Tulsa to Ric Rainbolt in Allen, TX in Matt's> Rick's> Dave's> Rick's> Ed's Mondial QV.

Sadly I didn't get to hang with the gang at the later US races because I was working in the pits. That meant arriving at 5:45am and working in the sun, standing up continuously, until 7pm. Great to be part of the event but too exhausted to play after hours.

While we still have a number of the earliest members, quite a few have moved on. I keep in touch with a few of both groups: Ric Rainbolt, Rui Gigante, Peter Henrys, Antony Shine, Matt Boyd, the two Charles Perrys, Captain Rehkopf plus Aldo Vanini and Francis Newman - and Steve Cook of course, if rarely. And of course, the second wave incliding Deep, Clyde, George, et al.. Phil Tegtmeier has been a friend since 1996. He joined the List at some point. Phil's son now lives in the Houston area so we see him from time to time, plus visits to Philadelphia.
