Thank you. Since they are the same for so many models, why are they so hard to find ? There are still plenty of 308 and 328 on the market.

Hi Michael,
The 308 fronts are 16x7 and the backs are 16x8.  Originals are hard to come by, I have been looking for a 16x8 for 10 years….

1981 308 GTSi: I have been shopping for new tires (Michelin TRX 220 55VR 390). They are so bad right now I won't be able to drive it when april comes. No choice.
Basically, Coker has them for about $2200. (shipping and tax included). But I'm afraid customs (I live in Montreal, Canada) will ask for more money. Queenwaytires.com (in Ontario) has them for $500 each plus tax 13% and shipping $100. They could have them in a month. Best price so far.
My other option was to change the rims. I have been told the 16" on 308 QV are the same. Right?
Are all 4 rims the same size front and rear.
I have tried and tried on Ebay (little success but never a full set of 4) and other places, Rutlands, Ricambi, even in Europe. Nobody has a set of 4. To save money I could keep the old spare tire.
Anybody knows a place (in Canada if possible) they have them and ready to ship.

The old Michelin lasted 10 summers from september 2003 to fall 2014 (about 20,000). I'm 55 years old. Let's say the new 16" rims cost me $600 all included (tax/ shipping) but with no tires. In a way I should probably buy those original Michelin tires at $500 each and hope they last me 10 years again.

What do you think ?
Anybody has anything for sale ?

Thank you!
Michael Savard
