i have a classified somewhere in 1975 when I graduated HS, a GTO + spare engine LA times 10K,
granted it was probably one of those beat up ones with all that racing history.........

What I find myself thinking - - - what Ferrari should I buy TODAY that will zoom financially tomorrow?  Or maybe it IS like fine art - - buy something you enjoy and that’s that.

Twenty years ago I took pictures of a 288 that a mechanic had taken his buddy for a ride thru a chain link fence and through a telephone pole.  Bent up a bunch of stuff.  Coulda bought the car almost for parts.  Alas.
