Rick, your advert comments and the "filler" boring laps are precisely the reason I watch the races on the DVR.

It took me 25 mins to watch the race yesterday...as fun as watching live considering modern F1 action.

And then there is the lack of advertisers on American TV.

All (C)NBC seemed to be running... over and over, ad nauseum were their in-house commercials for some stupid restaurant reality shows.   I got so sick of the same show commercials running so many times I don't care if they are the greatest shows on TV, you couldn't pay ME to watch them now.   Sorry if I offend anyone out there but Marketing people have become so myopic on their product placements they are blind to world's disgust with the same.
