Subject: [Ferrari] NFC - movie on NetFlix

It's probably been a good 30 years since I had seen it (on VHS) at a friends house in Europe... but I was just cruising NetFlix on my garage TV to find something to keep me company while I worked and I found "Weekend of A Champion".   For those who haven't seen this Roman Polanski documentary of (Sir) Jackie Stewart during his 1971 Monte Carlo weekend, its a real good watch.    If for no other reason, you fellow racers should watch it to hear him giving the best racing advice ever while having breakfast with Polanski... with a pad of butter...  doing this all in his underwear.

Having been to Monte Carlo for the races in recent years and stayed at the Fairmont, its such a treat to see how the track was laid out before they filled in pats of the harbor, built The Grand Hotel (now Fairmont) and added the pits and....  well, you get it.  But I had to grab my laptop.  I want to know more about Ken Tyrrell's double disk brakes???

So I give "both thumbs up" and recommend "Weekend of A Champion" to anyone who loves old race cars and the old drivers.

Now to write them and see if they'll add "Speed Merchants", "Lap of The Gods" and maybe "The Flying Scotsman"  Any other documentaries we should ask NetFlix about??  ("Senna" is already there).
