I was thinking more along the lines of Documentaries at this point...

But when SpeedVision first started (read: was good) they used to have the Saturday Night car guy movie...  The "something" Drive-In....??  I think I saw the movie you speak of one of those Saturday nights.  Ya just can't forget Frank Gorshin

Oh yeah ‘Hot Rod Girl" with Lori Nelson, Frank Gorshin, and Chuck Conners as the good cop.  Woo woo.

 

It’s a slice of the mid 1950’s out of control Southern California hot rodding teens and out of control bad guys with a black ‘50 chopped and channeled Mercury.
