Allow me to hijack this thread briefly.

Your issue with the turn signals, can you elaborate? Or allow me to discuss my issue and you tell me if this mirrors yours and then perhaps you can explain exactly how you resolved it.

On my 85 308, sometimes (often) the signal indicators do not work. If I fiddle with the hazard light switch, I can get them to work. Sometimes if I turn the hazard lights on and then turn them off then the turn signals will work again. If I put my finger on the hazard light switch while my turn signal should be blinking but isn't, and if I apply a tiny bit of pressure on that hazard light switch, it will make the signal light work while I apply pressure. I have been under the assumption that I need to either clean up or replace that hazard light switch in the center console.

Is this the same symptoms you had, and if so did you just say you found a NAPA relay to replace the OEM relay in the fuse/relay box under the dash?

And on a tangential note, my next 308 project will be figuring out why my cooling fans for the radiator, which are thermostatically controlled, don't seem to be coming on anymore.

PS-I just replaced my fuse blocks with Birdman fuse blocks but haven't run the car since. I am pretty sure that won't fix the fans but I've had these new fuse blocks for a few years and finally decided to go ahead and take that ambiguity out of my diagnosis of this (and other future) issue(s).

I had a similar experience with the turn signal/hazard switch in 2005. The turn signals worked
Only when I did not need them. I would flip the switch 30 times and the turn signals would work
Then fail when a semi was behind me and I was turning left.
I tried to find a turn signal relay but NA was the standard answer.
So I pulled the switch, cleaned it, rebuilt and replaced it NOS.
Still failed, I tried several from NAPA until I found a turn signal relay that worked, so much for yellow box with the horse on it.

I still do not understand why the flipping the hazard switch would make the turn signals
( I know it is in the hazard/turn signal circuit ) work.

Unbelievable. All I had to do was take a piece of sandpaper and rub it on the 5 legs. It started right away. I'll still find a new relay this week. But I don't understand why that was the problem. The 5 legs looked very very nice, all golden and nice ????
I put a sandpaper in my tool box!
Thanks Stephen!

Have you checked the RELAY?  It is H bottom left on the relay board.
A couple of years ago mine did not start, did not hear the pump, I checked the relay and it had carbon on it on the legs, I cleaned it with Q tip in alcohol put it back in ad it has been fine ever since.

Problems again. First towing in 4 years. 1981 308 GTSi is running perfectly well. Going back home, red light becomes green, 1st gear, turn left and then woof! Engine dies. I rolled quietly to the next red light. We do have A LOT of red lights in Montreal. The light turns green, I turn the key, engine starts and dies right away, but I'm going downhill, so I put it in 2nd and clutch in clutch out, it starts for one second again and dies, keep rolling downhill take a right turn in neutral, try again to start it, it starts and then HUGE backfire and dies again.

I decided to play (switch relays) with the relay because there is a noise coming from the fuel pump relay. Try different relays that were there. Nothing. But at one point I clearly heard a "whistling" noise (as if air was coming out from somewhere) coming from the area of the fuel pump in the engine bay. Very strange and scary. That noise came when I put a relay, don't remember which one, in place of the fuel pump relay. I still tried to start it even if that whistling noise was scaring me. Nothing. I put the original relay back in and the whistling noise stopped. Absolutely no smell of gas at all. Fuel tank is 2/3 empty.

Called the towing and parked it.

Fuel pump was changed in november 2006 along with a used accumulator. The relay was changed in may 2011. It's saturday, can't talk to my mechanic until monday. And what's worse is I'm back at school (I'm a teacher) on monday. No more vacation, ne more free days to get the Ferrari to my mechanic whenever I want to.

What do you think ?
If it's the fuel pump, any idea of the price ? (I paid $146.00 back in 2006.

Thank you!
