Ditto's.....
It must be sad to be a young and coming driver who has always dreamed of becoming a F1 Pilote only to find he's become a head in a slot car contest. The sex appeal has been gone for me since around 1995. I don't ever want to see anyone hurt and I am always annoyed by those who attend races hoping to see some blood but F1 will never be "safe". While they move to sanitize things and slow the cars they are having the unintended consequence of making F1 less interesting. I always looked for the technical excellence the F1 cars attained. I regret the time in the late 60s/early 70s when drivers were killed monthly but there were so many things they could have done that didn't involve removing driver input. Having more emergency help around the track with fire fighting equipment for one.

Anyway, on a plus the cars are so freaking fast and turn in so insanely quickly they're almost impossible NOT to watch. I could go on and on but would only bore you to tears.... ;-)
