I advocate:

Get rid of the pit side team computer screens.  Let them record data and review later.

Retain SAFETY communication with the driver.  Golly, we wouldn’t want to count on the corner workers waving green and yellow flags at the same moment!

Do away any vehicle restriction that wasn’t around in 1965.  That is retain weight, engine size, everyone gets the same wheels and tires - - and, um, well – that’s it.

Then run the races as a “claimer.”  Winning car can be bought for a set amount.

Never happen – not PC for the sponsors.  Heh heh
