Did anyone watch the Formula E race yesterday? A real who's who of past F1/Indy drivers. Entertaining but no real excitement. The concept of changing cars mid race seems a bit of a conundrum for me... why not have a changeable battery pack? I mean you are coming in anyway (to change cars). On the other hand, bounce a car off the wall and as long as you can bring it back to the pits, get a second chance??!?!?Rick
Formula E is so pointless...
What is the point of having a spec series when you are supposedly trying to advance the electric car? They should have at least let each team come up with their own design for the car chassis and powerplant/battery technology.
The only redeeming quality of the broadcast is Dario giving the color commentary. They have to pump up the excitement of the races by playing dance house music in the background. Ugh.
Nice though to see some of the past F1/Indy drivers get some racing action. Also I have to give props to Andretti Racing for getting a team together.
