BWWHAahahahahhahah – oh Clyde – for 15 years you’ve been killing me and I’m sure it ain’t over yet.

Formula E – it happened 45 years ago.  Picture this – turn 6 at Riverside Int’l Raceway – Rex Mays 300 – Indy cars on a road course – imagine.  Thanks to Dan Gurney and Company.  Any way – here come the STP Turbines - ->                        ß-.  Un huh.  That’s all you heard.  Well, maybe the squeal of their 8 disk brakes.  Thas right – two discs per corner on an all-wheel drive car.  Andy Granatelli signed by “Little Joes” bread pig board the year Mario won Indy – “Best Whooshes.”  They never did outlaw turbines in that era – just choked them off.  Sorta like making Top Fuel run a Mikuni two bbl carb atop the supercharger.

Alas

Watching Formula E is like watching a handicapped person have sex !

It's going to happen, not real exciting.

But do you have to look?

Did anyone watch the Formula E race yesterday?  A real who's who of past F1/Indy drivers.   Entertaining but no real excitement.   The concept of changing cars mid race seems a bit of a conundrum for me... why not have a changeable battery pack? I mean you are coming in anyway (to change cars).  On the other hand, bounce a car off the wall and as long as you can bring it back to the pits, get a second chance??!?!?

Formula E is so pointless...

What is the point of having a spec series when you are supposedly trying to advance the electric car? They should have at least let each team come up with their own design for the car chassis and powerplant/battery technology.

The only redeeming quality of the broadcast is Dario giving the color commentary. They have to pump up the excitement of the races by playing dance house music in the background. Ugh.

Nice though to see some of the past F1/Indy drivers get some racing action. Also I have to give props to Andretti Racing for getting a team together.
