The filler tube needs a open end 23mm thin and short. You need to remove the oil filler tube to drop the oil pan on the 3x8. That is a major part my Ferrari.

Clyde, I know you must be kidding, just 4. open end, box end, slim (thin, example to get at the base of the oil filler tube), cheater tube to extend the wrench, several ratchets ( did you notice even when you buy sockets in a
foreign country - Germany in my case - the sockets are sized for drivers in inches ) drivers, torque wrench. I would ad box cutters for hoses (water, emission and fuel - not to be used on injector fuel lines, use a heat gun,
liquid wrench, wd 40, strap wrench for oil filter and don't forget crescent wrench and pipe wrench (yes I said pipe to be used on parts that are coming out/off and not going back in/on. Vise grips to convince nuts and bolt that gave
up their faces to let go.

Back to the engine pipe and you take the old one off and put it on you newer engine?

I don't know if your Red Head has the heater hose that runs through the rocker panel, if it does, this would be the time to replace it and the brake vacuum is there too. The 3x8 family has them and some swear the car was built around them.

Did I pass?

Heater hose is a bitch to install
Note to self next time as as engine goes in attach hose
But wait there's more
Same engine same year right!
Fucking hot water pipe on new engine is 5 inches shorter than my engine hence my heater hose will not reach it
Oh did I mention engine is BOLTED IN CAR AND CHAINS OFF OF IT
Soooo remove old heater hose assembly from old engine
Easy engine out of car
Even a wrench posser can do It with supervision (you know who you are )
Did I fail to say it's in the damn car with about as much room to put a 1/4" socket on the bolts as a new girlfriend (read tight)
Get hose assembly's off of engine in car (wew)
Put new old heater hose assembly on engine in car (wrench posser crying )
Done

Ok Jeopardy Questions

What 4 wrenches size are needed to work on any Ferrari
You wrench possers will fail this one big time
Only us true Ferrari Techs will pass this one

Waiting for answers!!!!!!
