Today 42 years ago today Americans woke up to find out that President Nixon had started a campaign to end the war and get our POWS, home since the peace talks were going no where.

It was called LINEBACKER II

For those of us who flew the missions over Hanoi for the 11 days, welcome home.

It was well worth the sacrifice.
