The only reason I think it's the gauge is
because in may 2013 my mechanic changed the whole system inside (long
stick) and on top of the tank. So, everything is brand new.
I had bought the car in 2001 with a faulty reading.
I mean the gauge (on dashboard) would go to FULL when I filled it up and then
after not even 100 km, it would go to EMPTY. I drove like this for many many
years. Finally, on may 2013, I bought the whole system (LEVEL GAUGE CONTROL for
62 pounds from Eurospares) and my mechanic put it on.
Many of you seem to think it can't be the dashboard
gauge. The battery is out for winter. Can't do any testing with ignition on.
I guess I'll have to wait for spring.
