Rick,
Definitely not boring and while I HATE little turbo motors in F1, I do applaud the work of the bright boys who brought this technology into play.

My question(s):   Knowing that the current state of F1 engine design produces motors in excess of 115% VE without power adders... and these motors idle north of 5K, just how much lag are they compensating for when they power the MGU-H?   How do you compensate for the Stoichiometric when you are off throttle and pumping air to prevent said turbo lag?   If they just dump the excess boost overboard, why waste the (battery) power spinning the MGU-H...?   There is some amazing computer control going on here.

The clever bit that caused me to write this excessively boring post is that the MGU-H also acts as a motor to spin up the compressor before the turbine comes into full play. Therefore the MGU-H helps negate turbo lag! That's pretty cool! If '80s era 911s had that, their back ends wouldn't pass their front ends quite as often!
