"Hellcat" not "Wildcat" (unless that was an internal code name from the factory).

The Challenger is the one out now but the Charger soon will have its own 707 hp version; whether it gets an enormous markup remains to be seen.

I'd consider the modern Mopar muscle car lineup a bit of a one trick pony compared to the Mustang and GM lineup ( Camaro/GTO/G8/SS) but it is really good at the one trick along with the aggressive look.

That's what the typical buyer likes, and Chrysler markets accordingly.

Yeah, this whole $60K over sticker is ridiculous, but not without precedent. Ford was doing it when they released the GT and the first *I* ever heard of it was with "new" Thunderbird.  Then, Chrysler did it with the PT Cruiser.   I know fools who have paid those premiums to get what they wanted NOW!   Petulant children.  You are so right about the stupidity of the American buyer.   Sadly we also let these idiots breed and vote.

Other than the few speciality cars the used market is the same as other cars if you know how to shop 

But can you imagine if Chevy or Ford could pull this off ?
