I think the time is right for the 308GTB/S
and TR are about to have their day. The kids who were influenced
by them on Magnum PI and Miami Vice are coming up to the age when
they are now looking to buy the car of their childhood dreams. I am one of them as I am 46 and watched Magnum PI mostly for the car (the rest was the hot women! lol) I got in early and got my '78 red and tan, full Euro spec GTB with deep air dam, on 16 inch Ferrari wheels with upgraded suspension and better front brakes and one off stainless exhaust about 8 or 9 years ago. It's exactly what I wanted and the only Ferrari I ever want. I don't think they will be all an investor bubble because the reason we are buying them is we love them. But the investors WILL jump on the bandwagon of course... Just thinking out loud.... Regards Gavin New Zealand |
