Props to Mark for knowing how many teams had cheerleaders.....it is not all 32...with the excuse of a few teams playing in the Arctic circle and others being morally uptight....cough, cough, NY Giants...

I agree with everything posted. Let's step back a bit and ask what sport really is; Its a substitute for the battle for survival. We no longer have to fight to eat and breed, so we watch others pretend to do so! As retired clYde says, we already have lots of organized sport for that. The US doesn't need Formula 1 and Formula 1 doesn't need the US. And one might even argue that today, no one actually 'needs' Formula 1 in its diluted, politically corect form.
