It's even more amazing when you consider some of them are "negative salaries". Maldonado and Perez, for two, are paid out of money they bring with them. So essentially they are paying for their drives rather than being paid to drive. I looked for the list a friend "in the game" sent me that showed the "pay per seat" drivers but didn't find it... I know it's out there for those more adept at finding things. While I understand this practice is a "necessary evil", especially for the lower budget teams... It's yet another issue that keeps Formula 1 from being as good as it should be. Better drivers without that backing money do not make the field. For a solid list of drivers who should be in F1 save the financial backing, look no further than DTM or Formula E. Rick
