100& correct on all counts, except the laughable idea of buying one that's wrecked to get the airbag and ECU out of it.

All wrecked Ferraris have had the airbags go off, rendering the ECU and obviously the airbag useless, or, the car has been underwater. In the slight chance the airbag does not go off, that and the ECU are sold off to put someone's kid through college for another year.

That doesn’t sound right to me, but I do believe that your knowledge of things Ferrari is accurate.

I’ve got a 2005   575M F1……. so naturally, you raise concerns.
