Clyde will be there and we have a bunch of others attending.

A lot of you expressed interest and with this year's exchange rates, I cannot think of a better year to go economically. The trip will effectively be 30% off compared to the last ten years.

For all who have expressed interest in a group List gathering, now is the time to start planning!

The dates are Thurs, June 9 - Sunday June 12. Most of us will be staying those four nights.

1. The CDN to USD exchange rate is amazing. It's the best it has been in over 10 years and it could get better.. We're currently at 0.70 and are effectively going to get 30% off this years trip. This is a seriously advantageous development for us and means that we're basically getting a free night at the hotel.

2. We will be staying again at Hotel 10. The staff and location are both terrific. Karine from the Hotel du Fort is now on the Hotel 10 staff and she will be our personal manager for the weekend.

She has reserved a block of 15 rooms for our group, all with free parking and breakfast.

She will also be assisting with reservations throughout the weekend for dinner and we will have use of their Mercedes S class courtesy car throughout the weekend. This will come in handy for Sunday night dinner.

Please call her ASAP to reserve your room and mention my block. The rate is $359 CDN/ night and we are getting basically 50% off their regular rate which is terrific.

3. 50% off race tickets through Valentine's Day. The track is doing an incredible promotion again. If anyone is looking for General Admission, they will be *50% off between now and Feb 14*. Don't delay...order them below:


This is amazing since we used to pay $175 for Gen Admin race tickets every year. This year, we'll be able to get them for half that!

4. Vintage F1 will be the support race for this year. We will have some interesting events planned in the paddock with the Ex-G. Villenueve 312T5!!

I have started talking to our host hotel about next year's GP.

We will do a welcome happy hour/party on the Thurs evening.

We will have two days of karting and car show activities also.

I am also going to organize something special around the Historic GP series which will be there.
