I remember reading somewhere that the advice written in the owner's manuals not to exceed certain RPM for the engine during the first batch of mileage wasn't for breaking the engine in properly, but it was so the driver could get used to the car's performance at lower speeds!


All of the engines are run-in first on dynos and a final run-in is done on the road around the factory's country side so they're ready to go once delivered.
