Clyde always has to get his way.......
Some things never change. :)
Nice resume, you're a true New Yorker without a doubt. You lived in NYC at a time when it was rough and nasty....when subways were to be avoided late at night.....but a lot more character overall. (hence why Taxi Driver is my favorite movie)
However, I cannot recall you living in NY since knowing you on the list dating back to '96.
So the real estate market pre-'99 was night and day different than what it is now.
So the real estate market pre-'99 was night and day different than what it is now.
And unless you've been actively investing (or know people who have) in that market it wouldn't affect you....and if you have you would be more inclined to agree with me than disagree.
BTW, you didn't think I would comment like I have being a mere guest/transplant of the city did you? LOL.
Schooled in every borough except Staten Island:

About 85% of the friends I grew up with had to leave 5 borough NYC for Long Island, Westchester, Jersey, etc.....because proper houses can no longer be afforded by the standard middle class. SF the same, probably more so....Clyde,Just two different perspectives.....and applications.
For the wealthy, any and all cities can be seen as having market crashes when their $80 million mega luxury apartment has to sell for half or a third. Truly the 0.001% of problems. So both perspectives can be right, and for the context of this conversation as it applies to 250 GTOs, I guess NYC real estate "has crashed".......but for the rest of us who actually live in those places (and not talk s**** from the outside with arrogance), excuse us for seeing things differently. :)A lister told me years ago he'd have to sell his Ferraris if he wanted to move to NYC, and trust me he won't be the only one from now until eternity...FGOn Thu, Apr 5, 2018 at 4:45 PM, Clarence Romero Jr. <clyderomerof4 [at] gmail.com> wrote:Fellippe
