Michael asks " is it really necessary. . .[to change to] new oil again in the spring . . . that’s what I was told to do." Engine oils four main jobs are: 1)lubricate; 2)clean; 3)cool; and, 4)seal. Drive it calmly up to 190 F or about 88 C for half an hour or so. That will burn off any accumulated moisture and start up fuel blow by. Change oil if you wish tho as Clyde sez - not necessary if synthetic. BUT - what does the owners maintenance manual say? Happy spring motoring Michael - DOUG
