If I recall correctly (but no guarantees here) I think Jack Brabham pushed his car over the line and it turned out to bring points vital for his championship. Cheers, Grahame I remember Prost doing it. That was in Brands Hatch. The finish line is downhill, easy to push the car. He ran out of gas, which happened regularly back then, and tried to push it to the finish line. At least he didn’t put on a big act with it like Mansell did in Dallas or Phoenix and Hamilton today. Mercedes officially says Hamilton didn’t cause the hydraulic leak by jumping over the curb at very high speed. I think they are just covering for him. He went over a few times even yesterday, but ALWAYS came back on track early. This time we clearly see he keeps going straight a long time and goes over whatever is at the end of the speed bump line. The shock from the camera inside the track was very hard on the bottom of the car. Anyway, Ricciardo and Hamilton should be very entertaining to see. If Vettel gets a clean getaway, he should win easily. Michael Savard (1981 308 GTSi)
Come on guys, Prost tried to push car accross the finish line in 1986. On Sat, Jul 21, 2018 at 12:15 PM, Michel Savard <mysavard [at] videotron.ca> wrote: He is all about ‘social media’. Same with when he got out of his car to push it back to the pits. He knows it’s against the rules, he knew he would not make it anyway, but he did it just to show off. Michael Savard (1981 308 GTSi)
Did anyone see the drama queen Hamilton in qual?
