As mentioned at the end of the article, there are many more people involved. In this group of five though, they should’ve included Gioachino Colombo. He was sought out by Enzo and basically laid out the foundation of the legend – it’s engine. Plus, all of the early engineering work he contributed during that first decade of being in business.

 

Those original drawings are hanging on the wall of a well-known collector. I saw it many years ago during a garage tour. It’s a very impressive size and quite vivid as it is drawn using various colored pencils. I had the feeling I was looking at the automotive equivalent of the Mona Lisa 😊
