I went with QA-1 shock absorbers. Adjustable height and rebound and 1/3 the weight of the standard units. Very happy with the result. From: Ferrari [mailto:ferrari-bounces+ferrarilist=pless.com.au [at] ferrarilist.com] On Behalf Of Grahame Reinthal OK, since you asked, I will put together a few photos and share. Meanwhile, shockies are simply shock absorbers. We Australians have a habit of contacting some words, hence shock absorber becomes shockie. Here are a few other examples… Australian – Aussie but pronounced Ozzie Swimming costume – cozzie Afternoon – arvo Having a break from work (probably to have a cigarette) – smoko Having a day off work (probably pretending to be sick) - sickie Cigarette – ciggie Bricklayer – brickie Breakfast – Brekkie Tradesperson – tradie Truck driver – truckie Bike rider – bikie Can of beer – tinnie Small aluminium boat – tinnie By the way, going back to my shockies, I had the Konis rebuilt with stiffer valving and chose for them to be set at about +20%. It was done by a mob in Melbourne and the price was reasonable. Cheers, Grahame From: Ferrari <ferrari-bounces+grahame=reinthal.com.au [at] ferrarilist.com> On Behalf Of Lashdeep Singh via Ferrari Indeed, the build sounds really cool. Where are the pics and video?? Also, what the hell are “shockies”?? Are they lighter than regular shocks? If so, where do I procure them? Thanks, LSJ
