There is no engine picture because this is not the official launch. It will be, if I’m not mistaken, in Geneva in a few days. Or wherever is the next car show in Europe.

Could it be that the engine, in this day and age, is covered with a plastic contoured sheet, covering the vitals, marked with a snazzy FERRARI emblem stamped on it?

If so – big deal.

Nuthin’ like starring at 6 two throat down draught Weber carburetors.

But wait until the glues holding vital cooling ducts fail and stuff falls on red hot exhaust system and the car catches fire, not at all unlike the early 458’s.  

THEN you’ll the engine . . . no plastic cover.

Alas, I should hope not.
