He was my all-time favorite driver. I still have all his books (5). He was the opposite of today’s drivers, bitching when they lose and giggling like crazy when they win.

I remember when he was a director at  F1 Jaguar and tried to get Adrian Newey on board. Ford said no because he was too expensive. Imagine what could have happened then….
