Pretty sure a sizable chunk of them were on a pass/fail system.  Recall one chief engineer insisting on showing a video of his kid’s high school marching band in front of a room full of senior level managers.  Arrogant prick.  When found out that I was friends with one of Sergio’s key staff, he became hyper paranoid that I’d send an email directly to the boss.

When it was still Chrysler Group LLC, they did ask if I was interested on coming on board to be a VP in their purchasing group.  I’d rather poke my eyes out.

Maybe Ford wouldn't have let go 7000 this week.  Glad to be out of that world and not have to deal with those arrogant B grade engineers on a daily basis.  As opposed to the C grade ones at GM.

I remember when he was a director at  F1 Jaguar and tried to get Adrian Newey on board. Ford said no because he was too expensive. Imagine what could have happened then….
