Aint that the nuts.  In 1985 Alain Prost was DQ’d at San Marino Imola for weighing in post-race 2 kilos light.  Imagine – winning an F1 race and getting DQ’d for a measly 2 kilos. 

 

But then again – half a cup of fuel too much?  And to think NASCAR racers would fill the roll bars with fuel to get a few extra gallons.

 

Ach – those were the days.
