First year of series have always been bad in Corvette-land.  1963,
1968, 1984  were all horrible.  2006 wasn't too bad, but they had
issues too.

Handling?  My son's Z06 eats everything at Road Atlanta as well as
Roebling Road and Barber Motorsports Park.  Except, of course, purpose
built race cars.  He runs with the electronic aids off.  Was 1st in
production car class at a recent NASA event.
