Just happened to be texting with my son.  He is showing off the
homemade splitter he's made for his Corvette.

Asked more specifically about cooling issues on Corvettes.  Mind you,
he's around a couple of dozen of them on race tracks on most summer
weekends.

He said none of the naturally aspirated cars made in the last 20 years
have any issues.  But he has seen some of the supercharged C7 ZR1
(755hp) overheat after extended runs on hot days.  About 15 minutes of
track running in 100deg temp seems to be the limit. Cooler days are
OK.
