I am not a Corvette fan but the performance value has been unbeatable over the last 20 years and they stepped up their game with the C8. They may take a bite of some  Porsche sales as this is less than Boxter or Cayman money but so is the current C7.
They have eliminated the manual gearbox so the C7 manuals will be strong value holders for the next few years.
