Is "backwards redneck" an oxymoron...? or a double negative?
I always thought "redneck" was like "unique", you couldn't use any modifiers with it.
Regardless, good folk!

Keep telling everyone we’re backwards rednecks with guns. Keeps the property taxes down and eases on congestion.

Yes but then you have to live in Alabama.

The fee is $10. One time. No smog checks, too.Rob is in Ventura County. Requires a biennial smog. once every two years or change of ownership. Once every two years or upon change of ownership and Rob’s on the hook to provide the cert.Yer correct on those countiesHere’s some more poop (really – poop) on California smog check. The 25 year moving smog requirement went out with Brother Arnolds buddies hot rod law. Wazzat? You want a period correct ‘50’s hot rod? Find a pre-war frame rail, cut the rail with the VIN and weld it to your ‘new’ car frame and you may have a pre-war car. No smog required. Buy a real one ($$$$) or build one. Ah Hah – you build one now its considered a “new” car to the state and requires your Merlin engined ’32 Ford to get smogged. But what about Arnold’s Law? Oh yeah – be one of the first 500 to register a vehicle in the NEW YEAR and yer home free.Kalifornia smog laws are a moving target. Not every county in Kalifornia requires a biennial smog (I think). It was that way at one time. Get it smogged the first time – and as long as your address doesn’t change within the area – no more. There is a move afoot to exempt cars after 1989 or something like that. But it’s rattling around in the hopper. As far as I know – that’s it. But hey – I’m and Old Salt when it comes to new rules – pay no attention to Gran’pa.Truly yoursDOUGFrom: Ferrari [mailto:ferrari-bounces+dnt=dock.net [at] ferrarilist.com] On Behalf Of Jashburne via Ferrari

All,I may have an opportunity to sell the 1974 euro GT4 for what I paid for it... My gut says no, but have only driven it a couple of hundred miles in 3 years and it’s been on jack stands for 1. It has a leak in one of the central aluminum tubes necessitating an engine removal to fix.Beautiful car. Just thought I would run it by all of you.....I am not sure I’ll live long enough to sort it out...RobSent from my iPhone
