The company is a division of BendPak, who makes regular 2 and 4 post automotive lifts.

They feature the same locking mechanisms as a lift. You basically elevate the car, set the locks, and then release the car off the hydraulic pressure and onto the locks.

Certainly couldn’t hurt to have a set of jack stands under them as well, but I doubt they’re required.

Their setup video is pretty good:

I saw a set in use at a track event a couple of years ago. A couple of guys used them to pop up a BRZ to change from street to track tires. I’ve thought about getting a set for my track trailer, but they are a little bulky and a little heavy (about 90 lbs per side for what I’d need). I don’t know if the CostCo ones are these or a cheaper imitation. I sure as hell would not trust a Chinese knockoff for this application.

Look at the video of the test on my rig

I feel totally comfortable being underneath it

Jokes aside, I see you’re using those portable car lifts (from Costco I assume?).

I’ve been considering getting a set. I figure it will work well for my 308 as it has those long chassis tubes down the sides where it can lift it up. No issues for your 575 when raising, especially since you have those belly pans?
