I think Ferrari Chat was the first place I saw "management" go "full stupid" in the world of political correctness. I can't remember his name but he was the guy who was creating/recreating the V12 in a 308 conversion in his basement. Some fantastic engineering and machine work going on... and a huge following. He made some comments to some bozo detractor and not only did he get attacked, he ended up getting booted off. His comments were factually true, but "hurtful"... so the PC stains in charge removed him. That and your situation... I lost all faith in FChat. I don't know if he ever finished the project. Every now and then someone cross posts from FChat and I think, maybe I should go see what's going on. So far, I haven't. I wait for a Doug, cLyDe, Rob or Dr. E post and all is well in the world

I’ve never really gone back th FChat.
Even now, I think of how the herd turned on me. It was awful. Permanently damaged my opinion of guys like Glickenhaus - who were apparently compelled to toss in their .02 and roasted me based on half truths.
I could go on about my close friends who were the mods that let the roast continue.
