Read this morning an interesting article from a noted analyst. Up until recently, there were around 80 flights per day from China to the US. The virus was more or less discovered in mid-January, but epidemic specialists say that infers infections likely started in December, if not earlier. So we had roughly 2 months of flights with possible infected persons on board. Given the estimated transmission rate of 2.5 to 3.5, it's entirely possible that the US has thousands - probably 10s of thousands - of undiagnosed Corona cases (no, not thousands of cases of beer.....) currently in this country. Since hospitals are charging $3000 for testing, few symptomatic people are getting tested. I know I won't shell out the funds personally. Have you had a persistent cough or perhaps some feverish episodes? You might be carrying!
