I have finally being able to get my oil lines off. I did what my mechanic said to try: Take the oil cooler off with the lines still attached. Remember, I could not unscrew the 2 nuts on the oil cooler side. I unscrewed the bolts of the oil lines going into the engine (bottom of engine and just at the bottom of oil filter housing). No need to empty the oil pan. Just take oil filter out and clean the inside to take as much oil out of there as possible. Then unscrew that top bolt. I covered both ends to stop the oil dripping.
