Re: shipping from England, one time I was doing a major service (60,000 mile) on my 1988 Silver Spur (long gone sold now). Part of that job was rebuilding the braker calipers, which I did, but I missed one retaining clip when I ordered my thousands of dollars of parts (hi Brian Keegan, who was at Symbolic at the time!). I can't remember how I got hooked directly with Rolls-Royce Great Britain, but what I recall is that I was borrowing a friend's garage for the job and I had promised to get the car out by the next day, but i couldn't without this clip. I had the part drop-shipped from RR Great Britain, I paid my local dealer or maybe Symbolic, but I ordered it in the afternoon and it made it from the UK by the next morning at my door in Virginia. I have no idea how that happened, but it worked....

Still find it bizarre that I had to go overseas to get a simple cap at a reasonable price.
