Two further notes on that story, it was a 60,000 mile service but it was at 120,000 miles on the car (I sold it later with 170,000 miles). The second note is that the little part which was only a couple dollars shipped for free.

I can't remember how I got hooked directly with Rolls-Royce Great Britain, but what I recall is that I was borrowing a friend's garage for the job and I had promised to get the car out by the next day, but i couldn't without this clip. I had the part drop-shipped from RR Great Britain, I paid my local dealer or maybe Symbolic, but I ordered it in the afternoon and it made it from the UK by the next morning at my door in Virginia. I have no idea how that happened, but it worked....

Still find it bizarre that I had to go overseas to get a simple cap at a reasonable price.
