Ferrari Mailing List: Lotus Esprit Turbo vs Corvette ZR1?

I need a reasonably priced old school exotic-ish car.

Ok, I don’t need another car at all but have always liked these two.

Specifically, the 1986-87 HCI or 89-91 SE Esprit Turbo and the 1990 ZR1.

I would use it on road trips, a yearly track event, autocross and road rallies.

What are everyone’s thoughts on either?

Any firsthand experiences?
