You gotta love fixes like that!
That reminds me to “fix” my driver’s side sun visor (always flops down).

Please don’t laugh at me. I’m very sensitive.
I’ve had my 1981 308 GTSi for 19 years. For as long as I can remember, the bracket for the rooftop on the passenger side always came undone every 10-15 minutes as I was driving. Every time I noticed (funny noise helped), I would just stretch my right arm and
push the bracket back in place and every time I would say to myself “Got to fix that once I’m back home”. Same thing happened to driver side but a lot less often.
Never did of course. I would park the car and forget about it …..until the next drive.
I even email the LIST for advice last year or 2 years ago and didn’t get any advice.
Well, this weekend I couldn’t get my car out because I was waiting for my friend who had park his car in front of mine. As I waited for over 1 hour, I thought to myself “why not take a look at that fragile bracket”.
Put the top upside down and saw the allen screws (2 out of 3) were very very loose. Drove around for an hour and the problem never came back.
Voilà! Better late than never.
