Yep

And to think if you fly a drone commercially - - - - you need a Part 107 certificate.

Your also forget

Mid air collisions with idiots trying to get to parking spots !

Also weather related incidents like fog rain and the ever present NIGHT FLYING ah yes

Ask me or anyone of us who did that on a regular basis NIGHT FLYING a much diff that NIGHT DRIVING

It’s a recipe for disaster for those who think this is just like driving !

Most civilians who fly don’t do it at night and very few fly in bad weather

And they are smart

And alive I might add

Listen

I flew steady from April 1969 up until my last flight on 23 august 2015 no interruptions other than vacation being sick and training

What’s that 45 plus years in fighters and helicopters and airliners

And still to this day I know that I will never fly again as a pilot and trust me I still know how to fly

And I you think the average JOE BAG A DOUGHNUTS is going to buy a flying car and make it out of the lot alive, well

Your doing mind altering drugs!

Forget about the insurance premiums and liability claims

There isn’t enough room to talk about that!

Those things will be crashing out like roaches in Puerto Rican kitchen, everywhere !

Scars are Tattoos with better stories !

If you have no enemies, you have no character !

All I can think about is what shitty boats the Amphicars were.

One thing to slowly sink in a lake.

Personal observation and experience leads to the conclusion that things that try to be too many things - end up being shitty at all of them.

Is there really room for shitty airplanes?  Like cLyDe said, self cleaning.

Oh, 4 wheels, no ground clearance and a low wing...  gonna be fun in a crosswind, down wing landing.  More so if the BMW engine lets go.
