The headrests for the rear seats in a GT4 are screwed right through the firewall as well – at least easily accessible, right above the front bank of carburetors and below the rear window.

 

Good luck with your project. Are you planning to use Dynamat for the insulation replacement? My friend used it in his Testarossa and he says it made a dramatic difference in cutting down the noise and temps.
